About Us (me)Welding Inspection Services is Located in Iuka Mississippi and has been established to provide services to companies in the area or companies that may have equipment manufactured in this area. The company is basically just me, I used to work as a union boilermaker whenever possible . This is after years of working non-union. Don't believe all you hear about the union. Try it out. Organize if possible. But mainly work like you would if you were working for yourself. Not all companies are out to take advantage of you and not all employees are out to take advantage of You Either! I have been a welder since the first time I struck an arc in 8th Grade metal shop at Cherokee Junior High in Springfield Mo. I then took similar classes at Kickapoo High School and then in Memphis at Kingsbury Vocational Center. My welding teacher in Memphis got me interested and motivated in the field of welding. Don't look down on vocational education that involves using your hands. I have been getting paid for it since I was 15 years old when I began welding on portable lighting trailers for a Coleman Engineering in Memphis. I would like to eventually obtain a teaching position in welding here in Tishomingo County Mississippi but until that happens, I will share whatever information with others who are interested in this fine trade. I have welded nuclear power plant component piping on US Navy submarines, and BBQ grills and trailer hitches. All of which I enjoyed. I'm not great at any of it but I enjoyed all of it. This website is more of a hobby than advertisement for gaining income. I have sold 3 or 4 MS Access databases . Which is VERY nice. But what is better is the nearly 14000 downloads I have had from my site by various people all over the world. I have no training in webpage development or hosting however if you are a small company on limited budget it can be done for about $10.00 a month. That's how much this website costs me.
